BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise Police arrested a man on charges of second-degree murder early Tuesday morning.
24-year-old Javon Harmon of Dover, Deleware, has been arrested following the murder of an unidentified male just after midnight on March 5.
Boise Police officers were dispatched to apartments on Lakeharbor Ln. just after midnight on Tuesday morning. Officers found a male victim lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the stomach. Officers rendered first aid and he was transported to a local hospital, but died in the hospital of his injuries.
Officers located an adult female and a child in the apartment, both of which were unharmed. The suspect, Harmon, was detained in the parking lot outside of the apartment. Detectives interviewed multiple people who were determined to be inside or near the apartment at the time of the shooting. Harmon has been arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on charges of Murder in the Second Degree.
