TAMPA, Fla. (CBS12) — A 24-year-old man is accused of fleeing a traffic stop and attempting to ram police vehicles all before hiding in a U-Haul.
Tynan Hutchinson was arrested on Wednesday, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office (HCSO). The incident began after Hutchinson evaded a traffic stop with the Tampa Police Department. He then proceeded to try to ram one of the police cruisers.
At around 3:30 p.m. deputies from the sheriff's office were called to assist with apprehending Hutchinson. Deputies say they deployed their aviation unit where they saw Hutchinson drive into a U-HAUL parking lot located on West Gandy Boulevard.
Hutchinson then fled from his car and hid in the U-HAUL.

Deputy-worn body cam shows HCSO cruisers surrounding the U-Haul. Hutchinson is seen in the U-Haul with his hands up as a K-9 ferociously barks at him.
Hutchinson was taken into custody without incident, HCSO says.
"Thanks to the coordinated efforts of our Street Crimes Unit, K9 and Aviation Sections, along with the support from the Tampa Police Department, we successfully arrested this known criminal who had no consideration for the lives he put at risk when he fled from our deputies," said Sheriff Chad Chronister.
