Iga Swiatek struck a sponsorship deal with the Swiss performance sportswear company ‘On’ last year after her long contract with Asics came to an end. The tennis legend, Roger Federer, owns a stake in the brand and has been pushing towards sponsoring more young players such as Ben Shelton, Joao Fonseca and Iga Swiatek.

A style icon herself, appearing on several magazine covers in iconic looks, Swiatek did not seem to take issue with wearing extremely similar kits since last year’s US Open, when On released their first public tennis kit. However, fans seem frustrated by this and have been demanding a new design for the last few months. Their demands will be met very soon as a new kit for the World No. 1 has been confirmed for the French Open and the tournaments that follow it.

Silke Tegethof, an executive from the brand confirmed to Sport.pl, a Polish sports media company, that the sponsor is preparing new kits for Swiatek for Roland Garros, Wimbledon, the Olympics, and the US Open. Swiatek herself is supposedly involved in the designing process and hopes to feel powerful on the court with her fresh gear.

When this partnership started, Iga told the On team that she wanted to feel "powerful" in her clothes on the court. And He assures us: this is how Iga feels.

Sneak peaks of the new outfits are yet to be seen and curiosity is in the air, given how well received the previous kits from On were, both on the men’s side and the women’s side.

Iga Swiatek is serving on court and off it

The World No. 1 is known for her dominance and energy on the court but not many expected to see her fashionista side, given how tight the schedules of tennis players are getting.

However, in what was a welcome addition to her portfolio, Swiatek partnered with the giant cosmetics brand Lancome last month and did a photo shoot for them, which went viral, proving that the Pole is more than what meets the eye. Check out the photos from the shoot here:

This month, she made headlines again. She was on the cover page of the prestigious Elle magazine in Poland, displaying an array of different outfits and looks.
