Top ten Italian tennis player Matteo Berrettini is currently competing at the ATP Napoli Cup and has generated plenty of buzz in the media with recent rumors swirling around him having moved past former tennis player-girlfriend Ajla Tomljanovic, for a new lady love.

The lady love rumored to be his new beau is 27-year-old Italian model, radio and TV presenter Paola Di Benedetto. Di Benedetto is said to be back from a short relationship with singer Rkomi, but at the moment no further details are confirmed about this as well.

Berrettini also recently met former footballer Fabio Cannavaro on the sidelines of the Napoli tournament.

However, a Colombian player called Nicolas Barrientos created the most amount of controversy when he levelled charges of the tournament organizers allegedly mistreating him by creating a problematic hotel situation due to which he found his wife’s and his belongings thrown across the floor of the room he had booked.

Tennis tournament at Napoli turns into huge fiasco as fans storm around the stadium complex asking for refund

In more wild scenes, some spectators gathered around the Napoli tournament complex recently after play was suspended for the second consecutive day due to slippery court conditions. The spectators shouted slurs such as “you are a sh*t figure” and demanded a full refund for their tickets due to the agony they suffered.

Berrettini is someone who usually stays away from making comments on controversies even when asked about it. And this time was no different despite the magnitude of the situation in Napoli.

“It’s a complex question, because I don’t like to talk about things that aren’t working. It is undeniable that there have been difficulties and that the organization is doing everything to adapt,” Berrettini said before his quarter-final against Taro Daniel.
