Bryan Baeumler was born on 18 April 1974 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. He grew up in Canada with his two siblings and acquired an interest in business at a young age. He spent his childhood summers building his family’s cottage.
He learned from his father who was an aircraft engineer. Baeumler established his own handyman business at the age of 14, doing odd jobs for neighbors. He graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1996.

Baeumler began his career as a businessman who owned an air-cargo company from 1995 until 2003. Then he worked as a builder and later established a construction company “Baeumler Quality Construction and Renovations Inc.”
