Armored Core 6 tells the story of a far future where humanity has perfected interstellar travel. The events take place on Rubicon 3, a planet teeming with the rare and valuable element Metamaterial. You will be taking on the role of a mercenary, simply referred to as “621”. You are talented, and you know how to tweak your Armored Core to better suit your play style. Well, it’s no secret that the various groups fighting for possession of this resource will stop at nothing to secure their position as the sole owners.

Best Early Build – Assault Build

For the early game build, you can use Vvc-760PR on both the left and right arm. This is a plasma rifle capable of shooting laser using energy. The bullets from plasma rifles travel a lot faster than regular ones. So you will be able to hit a lot more. Not only that, plasma rifles do not need any bullet cost. So, you will also be able to save valuable credits, which can go towards buying the next part for your Armored Core.

For the back weapon, we recommend Vvc-70PM for both the left and right back. This is a plasma missile launcher. Being a plasma weapon, it will come out a lot faster. The back plasma weapon deals a lot of damage to the posture bar. Thus, you can break enemies a lot easier to dish out a high amount of damage.

Best Midgame Build – Melee Build

• Bomb launcher-type weapon with cluster damage

• Pulse Blade is reliable weapon for melee combat build

For this build, we have gone with MA-T222 KYORAI in the right arm. This is a bomb launcher-type weapon in the game. The weapon shoots out a single bomb, which separates into a cluster of three, and each deals individual damage to the enemy. While the weapon can be good at long range, it will be a lot harder to hit the enemies from range. So, it shines the best in a close-range build. For the left arm, we have a PB-033M ASHMEAD pile bunker. This will deal massive damage to the posture and health of any enemy brave enough to get close to it.

In the right-back position, we have Vvc-70VPM, which is a plasma missile launcher. This weapon will make sure to keep the enemy on the toe while they are not in our attacking range. For the left back, we have our trusty Pulse Blade. While it is one of the first weapons we get in the game, it holds up pretty well throughout the game and truly shines in this melee combat build.

Best Late-game Build – Tank Build

Let’s look at the takes from the best Late-game build in Armored Core 6:

• Left-arm shoots tracking missiles to keep the enemy moving.
• Keep enemies moving and use the songbirds to deal damage.
• Pressure the enemy with the missile launcher for opportunities to deal massive damage.

As the late game build, we have the HML-G2 P19MLT-04 missile launcher as our right-arm weapon. At the same time, we have a DF-GR-07 GOU-CHEN grenade launcher as the right-arm weapon. The left-arm weapon will shoot a bunch of tracking missiles, which will keep the enemy moving, while the left-arm will be ready to deal a single high-power grenade damage. Look for your opportunity with the missile launcher and hit the grenade launcher to dish out a massive amount of damage to the enemy.

For the back weapon, we have the BML-G2/P05MLT-10 Missile Launcher on the right and the SONGBIRDS Grenade Cannon on the left. Everything is kitted out, so keep your enemies moving. And if they stop, the damage from songbirds will be enough to take a chunk of hp and posture out of him. So you need to keep the pressure on your enemy with the missile launcher and take any opportunity you can get to deal massive damage with your two cannons/grenades.
